Overview:
Our client is a start-up manufacturing company located in Southern Ontario who is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer with proven experience, high-performance talent and high-impact results.
As they grow and perfect their offerings, they will be seeking to invest in a CEO that will move their company from private to public. The candidate must be focused, have critical thinking abilities, creative, self-motivated; and, have experience working at a grass roots level having propel organizations to new heights.
Primary Responsibilities:

Creating company culture.
Modeling organizational values.
Setting strategy and vision for the organization, in conjunction with the Board.
Must be able to describe the strategic vision in a clear, engaging and exciting manner to stakeholders and employees alike.
Responsible for transitioning the organization from private to public offerings.
Identify and direct mergers and acquisitions.
Create and develop business and organizational plans.
Ability to create and identify opportunities for growth.
Artful in communication.
Understand Capital budget, allocations and returns.
Must be a great decision maker with the ability to deal with issues in front of them.
Ensures expenditures of the Company are within the authorized annual budget.
Ability to assess principal risks of the company and to ensure these risks are being monitored and managed.
Ensures the internal controls are effective and that systems are in place for management communications.
Ensure the organization maintains high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility within the community it resides and wherever it does business.
Act as a liaison between management and the Board.
Ensure integrity of all public disclosure by the organization.
Arrange special meetings of the Board when appropriate.
Sit on committees of the Board where appropriate as determined by the Board.
Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and Company standards and policies, including but not limited to environmental, health and wellness, code of conduct.
