HR/HS Coordinator

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for dealing with any HR/HS inquires, complaints, questions in a timely manner with the decision-making ability to escalate complex issues to the appropriate level
  • Monitoring/inputting data into ADP EzLabor for payroll and attendance purposes
  • Providing direction regarding disciplines and infractions to supervisors
  • Responsible for managing temporary labour through staffing agencies, conducting orientation sessions for new hires, posting internal and external positions
  • Assist with JHSC inspections and meetings
  • Preparation of various weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Contact for any Ministry of Labour visits, inspections, etc
  • All other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3+ years of previous Human Resources and/or Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High level of discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • JHSC Certification (Parts 1 and 2)
  • Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification an asset
  • Prior experience with ADP EzLabor an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter tendencies with the ability to work independently
  • High level of discretion when dealing with confidential information
