Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Receptionist for a temporary role. This will be approximately a 2 month contract with the possibility of longer.

You should have a pleasant and positive personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to streamline office operations. Multitasking, computer proficiency, data entry skills and phone etiquettes are essential for this position.

Job duties:
  • Priority will be data entry experience. This position requires speed and accuracy of entering listing information
  • Process payments for the administration of listings
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • Direct billing
  • Ensure office is kept clean and organized
  • data entry
  • Manage office supplies and sign inventory
  • Answer office telephone and tend to all inquiries
  • Implement current systems and checklists in accordance with standard operating procedure manual
  • Learn Real estate policies to provide customer service

Education:
  • Post-secondary education
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word

Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Data Entry
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude

Shifts: Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Contract length: This will be approximately a 2 month contract with the possibility of longer.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
