Accounting Specialist
Job Description
Duties
Full-cycle bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, invoicing, bill payments, and reconciliations
Maintain records through our Member Management System and QuickBooks
Administer payroll (PayWorks) and group benefits.
Prepare monthly income statements, assist with HST and government remittances
Liaise with external auditors during annual audits
Support transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online
Assist with implementation of Ai driven data entry and paperless accounting workflows.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in full cycle bookkeeping or accounting
Strong knowledge of Quickbook, payroll, and financial reporting.
Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience implementing or transitioning accounting systems
Experience with Dext or accounting system integration is an asset.
