Contract Length: Covering a maternity with potential for temp-to-perm based on business levels
Wage: $20 to $22/hr, based on experience

Estimator
Job Description
The Estimator plays a key role in the success by preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for greenhouse and greenhouse-related projects. This role supports the sales and project management teams by ensuring project budgets are aligned with client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to prepare accurate material and labor estimates.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and deliver competitive quotations.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure estimates reflect the most current designs, materials, and construction methods.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry standards.
- Prepare and deliver formal quote packages to sales representatives.
- Support project handover to project management after successful award of contract.
- Assist in the development and improvement of estimating tools, databases, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong math skills and a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP/CRM systems a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of greenhouse structures or controlled environment agriculture is an asset.
- Candidates will need their own transportation as the position is not on a public transit route
