Job Description


We are now hiring a Full Time Forklift Operator in Niagara. Interested candidates should have the following skills and experience:
  • Ability to work from 3 Shift rotating schedule
  • On Call every 3 weeks
  • Minimum of one year Forklift experience and hold a valid License
  • Must be a resident of Canada for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Previous warehousing experience an asset
  • Ability to load and unload a variety of goods/cargo from transportation shipping containers
  • Ability to pick or pull cargo from warehouse and prepare it for safe transport;
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs;
  • A positive and open personality with a “Can-Do” attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Great work ethic – a person who takes pride in being reliable, committed and dependable;
  • Must be able to pass a clearance application through the Canada Boarder Services
Looking for a candidate to float between our Niagara-on-the-Lake and Fort Erie borders.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets
  • Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
  • Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement. Process payments through a POS system
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
  • Valid forklift certification or license
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating a forklift
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Salary: $23.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
  • Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
