Our client in Welland is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Janitor to support their operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is covering a leave of absence and is expected to last approximately 8 weeks, with the possibility of overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of shop floor, production, and office areas
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility
• Sweep, mop, and remove garbage and recycling
• Clean and sanitize washrooms and employee breakroom areas
• Assist with basin maintenance and other cleaning-related duties as assigned
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or commercial cleaning experience is considered an asset
• Strong reliability and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check

Schedule

• Rotating 12 hr continental shifts:
• Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Compensation

• $23.13 per hour + $0.60 afternoon shift premium + $0.70 night shift premium
