DZ Driver/Warehouse Labourer
Job Description
A long-standing and growing company in Fort Erie is seeking an experienced DZ Driver to support delivery operations primarily between Fort Erie, Buffalo, NY, and the Greater Toronto Area. This is a part-time role with approximately 20 hours per week, combining driving responsibilities with occasional warehouse and labour duties when driving tasks are complete or when there are no driving tasks for the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Kenworth Straight Truck with tailgate (28’ box, automatic transmission)
- Perform deliveries between Fort Erie facilities, Buffalo NY, and the GTA
- Cross-border driving required (U.S. eligibility needed)
- Assist with warehouse and labour duties when driving tasks are complete or when no driving responsibilities are scheduled
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of DZ driving experience
- Current and clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong communicator with a dependable work ethic
- Physically capable and able to perform labour duties when required
- Flexible and adaptable to a mix of driving and warehouse responsibilities
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (part-time), shifts ranging from 6–12 hours depending on route and volume
