Production Supervisor
Job Description
A Greenhouse Manufacturer is looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join their team. Looking for a candidate with supervisory experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands on shop floor leader in a fast-paced organization
- Responsible for planning, organizing, staging material, conducting, and teaching machine setups
- Responsible for ensuring the production schedule meet the delivery dates
- Manages and coordinates the activities of direct reports to ensure maximum effectiveness is maintained for safety, quality, production and on time delivery
- Holds daily production meetings
- Checks and signs off on machine setups, conducts production audits to ensure parts meet quality standards and reflect proper counts
- Training of new employees on machinery, set ups and SOP’s
- Responsible for Health and Safety of all team members
Job Requirements:
- Well versed and experienced with the implementation of 5S, Lean and System Thinking
- Able to read blueprints and drawings
- Ability to influence, problem solve and troubleshoot production issues and concerns
- Team player who has a positive attitude and a high level of energy who can lead and influence change
- Strong analytical skills who can root cause problems
- Must have Manufacturing experience on a production floor ( experience with drill presses, CNC machines, milling machines, brake presses and punch presses)
- Must be able to get to Vineland as there is no public transit available
Shifts:Â 8am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays
Salary:Â $65K to $70K/year
